  • Core Group International Pty Ltd ("CGI") provides professional services that support clients to make informed property decisions. We help clients identify and secure suitable property opportunities (including off-market options) and, where relevant, coordinate introductions and communications with trusted third parties such as builders, financiers, and other service partners.​

3.) What personal information we collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • ​Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, residential address

  • Enquiry and service details: your goals, property preferences, budget range, location preferences, and timeframes

  • Financial and eligibility information (where relevant): information you provide to help us understand your general financial position and suitability for certain options (for example, borrowing capacity indicators). We do not request bank passwords.

  • Verification information where required: identity verification details

  • Communications: emails, messages, call notes, and records of interactions with our team

  • Call data: phone numbers, call times, and (where enabled) call recordings and transcripts

  • Website and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookie data​

 

Sensitive information

We generally do not seek to collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) unless it is reasonably necessary and you consent, or another legal basis applies.

Identity documents

As a new client, we may ask you to provide relevant identity documents strictly for the purpose of submitting these with an initial EOI (Expression of Interest) and deposit to finalize the hold of a land and build property package.

We do not ask you to provide identity documents (such as a driver licence or passport) for storage in our customer systems.

  • Directly from you (for example, when you fill in a form, make an enquiry, engage our services, or communicate with us)

  • From third parties you authorise (for example, financiers/lenders, mortgage brokers, real estate platforms, builders, referral partners, or social media platforms)

  • From publicly available sources where relevant and lawful

  • Automatically through our website and online services (for example, cookies)
     

If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to provide you with some services or respond fully to your request.

We collect, hold and use personal information to:

  • understand your needs and assess suitability of options you request

  • present property options and coordinate introductions with relevant third parties (for example, builders, financiers, mortgage brokers, and real estate platforms)

  • manage our relationship with you, including customer support and service updates • maintain our client and enquiry database and keep records of interactions

  • manage marketing and sales activities

  • make and receive calls and (where enabled) record calls for quality, training, and compliance purposes

  • improve our services and client experience (including internal reporting and training)

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations

  • send marketing and educational content where permitted by law and in line with your preferences

We only disclose personal information where it is reasonably necessary for our business functions, to deliver services you request, or where required/authorized by law.

  • Financiers, lenders and mortgage brokers (where relevant to your enquiry or requested services)

  • Real estate platforms (where relevant to advertising, enquiries, or property-related communications you request)

  • Builders and other service partners where relevant to your enquiry or requested services

  • Professional advisers (for example, legal and accounting)

  • Regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties where required or authorized by law

Referrals to a partnering residential agency

In some cases, you may ask us to refer you to a partnering residential agency (for example, if you are seeking an established home purchase). We will only share your personal information for this purpose with your consent, and we will share only the minimum necessary contact details.

 

We take reasonable steps to ensure third parties handle personal information securely and only for authorized purposes.

From time to time, we may contact you about our products and services, as well as other content that may
be of interest to you.

We do this in accordance with applicable laws (including the Spam Act 2003 (Cth)).​

If we experience an eligible data breach (as defined under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)), we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme, including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.

  • meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping requirements

General retention approach

We generally retain unconverted enquiries for up to 90 days from the last activity, unless we are required or authorized to keep the information for longer (for example, to comply with legal obligations or to manage a dispute).

If your enquiry progresses and you become a client (or we are otherwise required to keep records), we may retain relevant records for longer periods where reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and manage disputes. When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it
